Mouth Watering Indian Food

Posted by walknewblue9 on 9/3/2009

I just wanted to share this experience. A group of us from work decided to go out tonight and have fun and try something different we have been hearing about this new indian place in the Stone Oak area. So we decided to go. we arrived to this nicely decorated restaurant the service was very friendly we wanted to order from the Menu some of the guests have eaten indian food in NYC so we went with her recommendations. And let me tell you we were pleasantly surprised with the unique flavors and textures. We order as appetizers Shrimp Pakoras and Vegetable Samosas then they brought Garlic Naan and Spinach Naan. then we had mixed grilled tandoori is a delicious mouth watering combination of chicken, lamb, fish and shrimp grilled in their famous tandoor oven, apparently is some kind of clay oven where everything is cooked. Then we had the Seekh Kabab. Someone else order the Shrimp Masala some saag paneer bhindi masala and channa masala as vegetables. This night out was a wonderful experience I am glad we were adventurous and decided to go there. I am coming back and telling everyone to try this restaurant !

Great Lunch Buffet

Posted by lzinna09 on 8/31/2009

I use to drive to the one over off of Fredricksburg, so when they opened an India Palace right in my neighborhood I was more than a little pleased! The buffet is very good, so good in fact, that I have never ordered off of the menu. I will have to try something different one day, maybe. The Chai tea is one my favorites and they make it just right.

Good Buffet

Myself and my wife recently went to the lunch buffet and were quite impressed; the quality of the food was high, although I don't think there was a single beef dish on the buffet, for cost reasons I'm sure. That said, we'll certainly go back again, and I hope that the food quality remains at the high standards it is now as time goes by, since they only recently opened.
